Full Day Fukuoka to Yamaguchi Prefecture Sightseeing Tour

Tour Itinerary: 10 to 11 hours

1) Pick-up

2) Akiyoshido Caves

Drive approximately 150 km to the Akiyoshido Caves in Yamaguchi Prefecture on the main island of Honshu. Explore the impressive limestone caves, known for their large size and stunning formations.

3) Motonosumi Inari Shrine

Continue north to the Motonosumi Inari Shrine, famous for its 123 red torii gates leading to a cliff overlooking the Sea of Japan.

4) Sezakiyono Park and Tsunoshima Bridge

Head on to Sezakiyono Park to enjoy picturesque views of the Tsunoshima Bridge, one of Japan's most beautiful bridges stretching over turquoise waters.

5) Lunch at Karato Market

Go to the Karato Market where we will stop for lunch at the many seafood restaurants. If you love sashimi and sushi, this is the place for you.

6) Akama Shrine

After lunch, take a short stroll and visit the nearby Akama Shrine, known for its unique shape and vibrant color.

7) Return to Kyushu via Kanmon Bridge or Pedestrian Tunnel

Head back to Kyushu across the Kanmon Bridge, or for a special experience, walk through the pedestrian tunnel under the sea. Meet at Mekari Shrine to give thanks for our safe arrival back in Kyushu.

8) Mojiko Retro District

Visit the unique retro buildings and train station in the Mojiko area, known for its charming historical architecture and waterfront views.
