Full Day Fukuoka to Saga/Nagasaki Prefecture Sightseeing Tour

Tour Itinerary: 8 to 10 Hour Full Day Tour

  1. Pick Up
    • Pick up at a local hotel.
  2. Drive to Okawachiyama
    • Drive approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes to Okawachiyama in the mountains of Saga Prefecture.
    • Optional stops at Karatsu Castle and Kagamiyama Lookout to break up the long drive.
  3. Tozan Shrine
    • Continue to the Tozan Shrine and see the amazing decorations in pottery towns in Kyushu.
  4. Arita Sera
    • Explore the many shops at Arita Sera and stay for 90-120 minutes while experiencing the treasure hunt at Kouraku Kiln and enjoying lunch. Please indicate your preferences and any food allergies.
  5. Hasami Yakimono Ceramic Park
    • Visit the Hasami Yakimono Ceramic Park to check out the various kilns used in the town's ceramic history.
  6. Onigi Tiered Rice Terraces
    • Short drive to the Onigi tiered rice terraces to marvel at the spectacular natural scenery.
  7. Ureshino Tea Exchange Museum
    • Head back to the Ureshino Tea Exchange Museum to view the history of Green Tea in the area and enjoy a beverage and an appropriate dessert/snack.
  8. Return to Fukuoka City
    • Return to the drop-off point in Fukuoka City.

Optional Stops:

  • Visit to the Izumiyama Quarry at the beginning or middle of the day.
  • Possible visit to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine on the way back to Fukuoka if time permits.
