Overlooking the ocean, the shrine is associated with Japanese mythology and fertility blessings. Don't miss the chance to toss clay balls (undama) toward a sacred target on the rocks below for good luck!
Stop at Horikiri Pass for a panoramic view of the Devil’s Washboards, a natural rock formation that looks like giant washboards stretching into the sea — a stunning photo opportunity.
Arrive at the beachside Aoshima area, where you’ll have time to:

Conclude the day with a smooth drive back to Miyazaki Port, arriving in time for your ship’s departure.
