7:30 AM - Depart from Kobe Port / 8:00 AM - Depart from Osaka Port

  • Meet your guide at the designated meeting point at either Kobe Port or Osaka Port. Board a comfortable vehicle for your journey to Kyoto.

9:30 AM - Arrival in Kyoto & Visit to Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion)

  • Arrive at Kyoto and head straight to Kinkaku-ji, the iconic Zen Buddhist temple covered in gold leaf. Explore the surrounding gardens and take in the serene atmosphere.

10:30 AM - Ryoan-ji Temple

  • Travel to Ryoan-ji Temple, famous for its rock garden, a masterpiece of Zen landscaping. Spend time contemplating the minimalist design and tranquil surroundings.

11:30 AM - Arashiyama Bamboo Grove

  • Drive to Arashiyama to explore the enchanting Bamboo Grove. Walk through the towering bamboo stalks and visit the nearby Tenryu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

12:30 PM - Lunch in Arashiyama

  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Arashiyama. Choose from traditional Kyoto cuisine, including yudofu (tofu hot pot) or kaiseki (multi-course meal).

2:00 PM - Fushimi Inari Shrine

  • After lunch, visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates. Take a leisurely hike through the gates and explore the shrine grounds.

3:30 PM - Gion District

  • Head to the historic Gion District, Kyoto's famous geisha quarter. Stroll along the traditional wooden machiya houses and explore Hanami-koji Street. You might spot a geisha or maiko (apprentice geisha) on their way to appointments.

4:30 PM - Kiyomizu-dera Temple

  • Visit Kiyomizu-dera, a UNESCO World Heritage site with a stunning wooden stage offering panoramic views of Kyoto. Wander through the temple grounds and drink from the Otowa Waterfall, believed to grant wishes.

6:00 PM - Return Journey to Port

  • Begin your return journey to either Kobe Port or Osaka Port. Relax and reflect on the day's experiences.

7:30 PM - Arrival at Kobe Port / 8:00 PM - Arrival at Osaka Port

  • Arrive back at the port, concluding your one-day tour of Kyoto.
