Itinerary

7:30 AM – Depart from Kobe Port / 8:00 AM – Depart from Osaka Port

Meet your guide at the designated meeting point. Begin the journey to Kyoto by private vehicle, with a brief overview of the day’s plan.

9:30 AM – Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion)

Visit Kyoto’s most photographed temple — a shimmering gold-leaf Zen structure set beside a reflective pond and manicured gardens.

10:30 AM – Ryoan-ji Temple

Contemplate the serene rock garden of Ryoan-ji, a minimalist yet deeply symbolic site representing Zen aesthetics and meditation.

11:30 AM – Arashiyama Bamboo Grove & Tenryu-ji Temple

Walk through the peaceful Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Nearby, visit Tenryu-ji, a UNESCO-listed Zen temple surrounded by tranquil gardens.

12:30 PM – Lunch in Arashiyama

Dine at a local restaurant and enjoy regional specialties like yudofu (tofu hot pot), kaiseki (multi-course cuisine), or light bento options.

2:00 PM – Fushimi Inari Shrine

Take a leisurely walk through the iconic tunnel of thousands of red torii gates stretching into the hills of Kyoto. A spiritual and visual experience.

3:30 PM – Gion District

Explore Kyoto’s famous geisha district. Walk along Hanami-koji Street, admire the traditional architecture, and — if lucky — spot a geisha or maiko heading to an engagement.

4:30 PM – Kiyomizu-dera Temple

Conclude your Kyoto experience at this breathtaking wooden temple perched on a hillside. Drink from Otowa Waterfall, said to bring health, success, or love depending on the stream you choose.

6:00 PM – Return Journey to Port

Board your private vehicle and begin the return trip to either Kobe or Osaka port.

7:30 PM / 8:00 PM – Arrival at Port
